Print Article Contributed by BSM Staff

NORWALK, CT -- City Wide, a building maintenance services provider, has announced the opening of a new office serving commercial properties throughout Southwest Connecticut.

Local building owners and property management companies throughout Fairfield County now have access to a single-source solution for all their building maintenance needs.

"Providing value to local business owners and facility managers is my top priority," said Susan Mais, owner of City Wide. "That value comes from our ability to reduce the cost, effort and time it takes to maintain facilities, and acting as an extension of our client's management team. My daughter and I are thrilled to start this journey together and ultimately bring convenience to the community."

She operates the business alongside her daughter Jennifer, who will serve as a Facility Services Manager. The duo's City Wide business, which recently opened at 37 North Avenue (Ste. 202) in Norwalk, is expected to host a grand opening celebration in February.

Susan joins City Wide with an extensive experience in starting up and building out service and sales operations for complex B2B and B2C businesses. Prior to opening City Wide of Southwest Connecticut, Susan served more than 20 years in the telecommunications, banking and energy utility industries with senior leadership positions at MCI Telecommunications, NEXTEL and Gillette.

With her professional background and participatory management style, Susan is positioned to provide exceptional client service and drive growth for the Southwest Connecticut office.

Founded in 1961, City Wide has become synonymous with building maintenance in its home Kansas City market and the 50-plus U.S. regions where it has grown through franchising since 2001. A single-source solution for all building maintenance services, City Wide contracts with independent contractors to give clients access to dozens of interior and exterior services.
