MENOMONEE FALLS, WI -- The Wellness Council of America recently presented its Gold-level Well Workplace Award to Bradley Corporation, manufacturer of commercial plumbing fixtures and equipment for more than 95 years.

The Gold Well Workplace Award recognizes organizations that make a commitment to the health and well-being of their employees.

By earning its second Well Workplace Award, Bradley has shown a long-standing commitment to the health and well-being of its employees. Over the past six years, Bradley has reduced its health insurance premiums through physical fitness, and launched company wellness initiatives such as offering onsite exercise classes, wellness clinics, and fitness challenges.

In addition to offering fruit and other healthy snacks at its facilities, Bradley employs an on-site health coach to help guide employees to more healthful habits.

“Our employees’ responses to these health initiatives have been remarkably positive,” said Bryan Mullett, chief executive officer, Bradley Corporation. “Over the past few years we’ve seen greater awareness, participation and engagement in Bradley’s wellness program, and have seen a number of health success stories. Without a doubt, our employees are healthier, happier and more engaged in their work and our company because of these efforts.”

The Well Workplace Awards initiative is driven by a rigorous set of criteria outlined in WELCOA’s seven benchmarks to a result-oriented Well Workplace. Since its inception in 1991, over 1,000 organizations, ranging from educational institutions to non-profit and profit sectors have joined the list of “America’s Healthiest Companies” by receiving the Well Workplace Award.

“Bradley has clearly demonstrated their commitment to protect and enhance the health and well-being of their employees,” said Marissa Kalkman, executive director of the Wellness Council of Wisconsin. “By meeting the comprehensive standards necessary to achieve the Gold Well Workplace Award, Bradley is prioritizing the well-being of their employees as a foundation of their company’s culture.”

With more than 6,000 member organizations located throughout North America, WELCOA is highly recognized and regarded for their innovative and result-oriented approach to worksite wellness. The Wellness Council of Wisconsin was founded in 1985 by nine employers from the Wisconsin business community.

For over 95 years, Bradley has created the most complete and advanced commercial washrooms and comprehensive solutions that make industrial environments safe. Bradley is the industry's leading source for multi-function hand washing and drying fixtures, accessories, partitions, solid plastic lockers, as well as emergency safety fixtures and electric tankless heaters for industrial applications.
