Legacy Roofing Gears up for Surge of Repairs After COVID-19

Print Article Contributed by BSM Staff

CLEVELAND -- With businesses facing major economic challenges for some time as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, owners and managers of the more than 6 million commercial buildings across the country are expected to delay planned renovations and needed replacements of everything from roofing and HVAC systems to plumbing and flooring.

Legacy Roofing Services is preparing to accommodate an increased amount of repair work from commercial facilities choosing to make repairs instead of replacements in an effort to delay large capital expenditures in an uncertain economic environment.

“Facility managers and owners of commercial buildings oftentimes need to delay large expenses for one reason or another,” said Brian Kruse, CEO of Legacy Roofing Services. “We work with customers to assess their particular situations and make recommendations that will extend the life of their roofing and enable them to put off the large cost of a replacement by several years.”

It is important to prioritize the work that needs to be done in terms of safety, need and cost in order to give the customer the most impact – and buy them the most time – to avoid them throwing good money at the wrong problems, he said.

Commercial service providers such as Legacy Roofing Services can also act as a liaison between commercial building owners and material manufacturers to qualify for or extend warranty coverage.

“Manufacturers will very often extend a warranty if the roof has been properly maintained, which is one reason why preventative maintenance is so important,” said Kruse.

Legacy Roofing Services is one of the largest commercial roofing service providers in the United States, managing more than 5 million square feet of roofing every year. The company provides a wide array of installation, repair and maintenance services using the latest technologies, including infrared scanning, a fleet of UAS drones and a proprietary online project management portal.

Legacy Roofing has been ranked a “Top 100 Roofing Contractor” by Roofing Contractor magazine for the past five years and has been certified, licensed and recognized by every major roofing system manufacturer.

The company was founded in 2012 and primarily operates in the Midwestern and Southeastern United States. More information is available at LegacyRoofing.com.
