LYNDHURST, NJ -- NAVAC, the world’s largest supplier of HVAC vacuum pumps and industry-specific items, is partnering with SUNY Delhi to support the next generation of HVAC professionals.

As part of its ongoing commitment to workforce development and technical training, NAVAC has donated professional-grade tools (more than $21,000 value) to enhance the college’s Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning program.

“Our collaboration with SUNY Delhi reflects NAVAC’s mission to empower the next generation of HVAC technicians with the tools, training, and confidence they need to succeed,” said Jesse Stewart, NAVAC National Training Manager. “Seeing students engage directly with NAVAC equipment in their labs – and knowing these tools will prepare them for the field – is highly rewarding, and furthers our commitment to supporting education at every level.”

The donation comprises a suite of NAVAC’s most advanced tools, designed to deliver the accuracy, performance, and ease of use technicians rely on in the field. These include hydraulic tube expanders, electric flaring tools, efficient A2L-ready recovery machines, and both corded and cordless vacuum pumps.

NAVAC’s involvement also includes mentorship. During a recent visit to SUNY Delhi’s campus, NAVAC national trainer Zane Stewart conducted live demonstrations and hands-on workshops for HVAC students, offering practical instruction on safe, efficient, and modern techniques using the donated tools.

The session also provided students with insight into evolving industry standards and the technology shaping the future of HVAC service.

The partnership comes as the HVAC industry prepares for the transition to low-GWP refrigerants under updated EPA regulations, which take effect in January 2026. NAVAC’s modern, advanced equipment positions SUNY Delhi students to gain relevant real-world experience reflecting the technologies and techniques of the modern HVAC landscape.

SUNY Delhi faculty have seen an immediate impact on their classrooms and lab capabilities.

“NAVAC’s donation has been a game-changer for our program,” said Jonathan Reynolds, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Instructor at SUNY Delhi. “Our students are training with the same advanced equipment they’ll encounter in the field, and the hands-on session with NAVAC’s team added tremendous value. This partnership enhances both our curriculum and student readiness.”

Through equipment donations, on-site training, and continued engagement with technical institutions across the country, NAVAC remains committed to elevating HVAC education and ensuring students enter the field fully prepared for its ever-evolving demands.

Comprising a full lineup of tools, gauges, detectors, recovery units and vacuum pumps, among other solutions, NAVAC’s product portfolio is designed with one overarching concept in mind: user-friendliness. The company seeks to meet a need for simpler, lighter, faster solutions that expedite service without sacrificing accuracy.
