ROSEMONT, IL -- CBF Live, a training and networking event for residential cleaning business owners, recently hosted the second annual Gala Benefitting Cleaning for a Reason, which provides house cleaning services to families battling cancer. With over 400 attendees from across the globe, the event served as a testament to Cleaning for a Reason founder and cleaning industry consultant Debbie Sardone's commitment to philanthropy. “We are elated to announce that our 2023 goal for the 3rd annual CBF Live ‘Count on Me’ Challenge, benefiting Cleaning for a Reason, is to raise over $120,000,” said Sardone. “We cannot reach this goal or continue our mission to serve even more patients without the generous contributions of our donors and sponsors or without the hard work of our cleaning company partners and fundraisers.” This year’s Gala celebrated the remarkable contributions of the companies that supported Cleaning for a Reason in 2022. The esteemed recognition went to: • Fundraising Excellence Awards: 81 companies collectively raised $108,159 in the past year; 15 companies were recognized for raising $2,000 or more. • Top 100 Cleaning Partners for Serving Most Patients in 2022 with the Top 3 being: #1 Buckets and Bows Maid Service, Lewisville, TX (served 50 cancer patients); #2 Executive Maids of South Florida, Boynton Beach, FL owner Dawn Zapf (served 36 patients); and #3 Two Maids of Gilbert, AZ, owners Ryan and Lorena Myers (served 26 patients).
