Stance Lotus and Podium Lines Awarded at HCD

NEW ORLEANS -- Stance Healthcare, a manufacturer of furniture for healing environments, received three awards at the Healthcare Design Conference + Expo in New Orleans held last month.

The annual Nightingale Awards, presented by Healthcare Design magazine in partnership with the Center for Health Design and the HCD Conference, recognize contributions to the healthcare, built environment through product design and innovation that contribute to healing.

A record 55 products were reviewed in this year’s program. Winners are selected by a judging panel of healthcare interior designers and facilities executives.

The company received three awards for a total of two collections, including:
●          Gold Award and Innovation Award in the Furniture Collections category: The Lotus Case Goods collection seamlessly blends aesthetics and functionality, utilizing sustainable materials to add warmth to behavioral health spaces with wood-grained appearances and an innovative concealed joinery system unique to the series. Safety is paramount, with ligature-resistant features and an open design to prevent concealment.

●          Silver Award in the Guest/Lounge Seating category: The Podium Lounge collection offers a range of configurations and features tailored to diverse healthcare settings. With enhancements geared toward user comfort, such as wider, flat arms and additional surface space, it is suitable for lounging and providing a restful respite for healthcare staff and patients.
