ATLANTA – Honeywell, a developer of building management systems, is focusing its portfolio on three compelling megatrends, including automation, underpinned by robust digitalization capabilities and solutions.

Honeywell displayed its key technologies in security, fire and life safety at the 2024 International Security Conference and Exposition (ISC West) held in Las Vegas this month.

"At Honeywell, we provide cutting-edge security solutions that help protect people, property and assets,” said Sergio Castillejos, vice president and general manager, Commercial Security, Honeywell. “Our latest security technologies provide enhanced protection, greater convenience and improved operational efficiency.”

Featured security technologies include:
• More connected and automated system – Honeywell Pro-Watch 6.5 provides robust, global integrated access control, video and intrusion detection in a single view to help protect staff and property, optimize productivity and comply with strict industry regulations all while reducing operational costs.

• Battery-free security, featuring increased smart phone integration. Its iLOQ range of electronic battery-free smart locks and keyless cellphone-based solutions will integrate with Honeywell Pro-Watch 6.5. This software integration will allow users to manage iLOQs range of electronic locks and related electronic credentials without additional onsite infrastructure.

• Improved technologies for enterprise building video security. The latest 60 & 70 Series IP cameras and NVR offerings provide an NDAA-compliant, cost effective and more operationally efficient security solution suitable for large indoor and outdoor applications. The latest updates include 60S multi-sensor, 60S IR PTZ with Wiper, 70S Speed Dome and a 70S Corner camera, along with the 35S PRO NVRs.

• Streamline manual visitor management and contractor compliance processes. Part of the Honeywell Forge for Buildings suite, Honeywell's cloud-based SaaS solution, creates a safer, more secure building with improved compliance processes and increased operational efficiency. Digitize and automate the check-in experience and processes that rely on paper forms, spreadsheets and emails to optimize efficiencies and improve workloads.

"Honeywell is committed to advancing the fire industry and providing innovative solutions that not only enhance building occupant safety, but also improve operational efficiencies,” said Jurgen Van Goethem, vice president and general manager, Fire, Honeywell. “In addition, our latest fire and life safety technologies enable a faster, more complete and more accurate flow of critical information throughout the entire fire alarm transmission chain, resulting in faster and more efficient dispatches, allowing first responders to act quicker and better informed in situations where every second counts.”

Featured fire and life safety technologies, include:
• Cloud-connected life safety: Honeywell’s Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS), is an end-to-end platform that leverages the power of cloud-connected technology to improve system uptime and to drive maintenance - and ultimately dispatch efficiencies.

• Natively connected fire alarms – Fire-Lite® Alarms by Honeywell, a reliable line of fire alarm control panels for small- to medium-sized facilities that require non-proprietary servicing flexibility including the latest Endurance X Series of panels
