NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA – In response to the destruction left by wildfires in Los Angeles, Bobrick Washroom Equipment, headquartered in Los Angeles, has announced a $30,000 donation to support small business owners affected by the fires.
The donation underscores Bobrick’s deep commitment to the community it has called home for over 119 years.
“As a company rooted in Los Angeles, we understand the vital role small businesses play in shaping the fabric of our community,” said Bobrick President Matt Louchheim. “These businesses are not just economic drivers; they are our neighbors, our partners, and an essential part of what makes Los Angeles resilient and vibrant.”
The funds will be distributed to local businesses in partnership with the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business Disaster Recovery Fund, prioritizing those most impacted.
Bobrick’s support will help business owners rebuild, restore operations and recover from the financial strain caused by the natural disaster, through grants up to $25,000 as well as technical assistance. Estimates of the total damage and economic loss to the area have ranged between $250 and $275 billion, which would make the LA fires the costliest natural disaster in US history, surpassing Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
“Many of us, including our Bobrick teammates, have experienced evacuations, prolonged power outages and limitations to water access. Some have suffered profound losses, including the loss of homes,” said Louchheim. “I am proud of our team’s resilience and desire to help our fellow Angelenos. We are honored to support the community we love.”
