KERNERSVILLE, NC -- Grass America, a supplier of functional cabinet hardware, has made a significant leadership transition as Matthias Bulla, who served as Executive Vice President, recently assumed the role of President effective January 1st, 2025.

Bulla succeeds Tom Kipp, who has held the position since February 2013.

Under Kipp's leadership, the company experienced substantial expansion of its North Carolina operations, including increased manufacturing capacity and a broadened product portfolio. Kipp's strategic vision and hands-on approach were instrumental in optimizing operations, driving efficiency, and fostering an environment of excellence throughout the organization

Matthias Bulla brings over three decades of global experience within the Grass Group and Würth Group to his new role. Since joining Grass Austria as a trainee in 1991, Bulla has demonstrated exceptional leadership in sales and operations. His career trajectory includes establishing new ventures in Malaysia and Austria, culminating in his current position as Executive Vice President of Grass America, where he oversees sales and marketing functions for both North and South America.

In his role as President, Bulla will leverage his industry knowledge and strategic acumen to drive Grass America's next phase of growth and innovation. His proven record in cultivating strategic partnerships and enhancing customer satisfaction positions him well to build upon the strong foundation established by his predecessor.

To ensure a seamless transition, Tom Kipp will continue to work with Grass America in an advisory capacity over the coming months.
