HOUSTON – “Shark Tank” host and entrepreneur Daymond John will present the opening keynote at IFMA’s World Workplace 2025 Conference and Expo this September in Minneapolis.
Neuroscience pioneer David Eagleman will open Day two of the event.
John, an investor on the hit ABC reality show “Shark Tank” and founder of the FUBU apparel and accessory line, will kick off the facility management industry’s flagship conference and expo Sept. 17 at 10 a.m., presenting a roadmap for resilient leadership.
A trailblazer in the entrepreneurial world, John has continually shared his business- and people-building insights with new start-ups, C-suite executives and global leaders. His devotion to knowledge sharing led to his appointment as Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship in 2015 to promote underserved entrepreneurs.
A native of New York City, John is also a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author and has been honored by the NAACP, Advertising Age, Ernst & Young and has been awarded a Congressional Achievement Award twice.
Eagleman is world renowned for his pioneering sensory substitution technologies that help people hear and see through touch. Host of the No. 1 science podcast Inner Cosmos, Eagleman has been named the top Science Educator of the Year and is the scientific advisor to HBO’s “Westworld.”
A neuroscience professor at Stanford University, Eagleman has authored articles for the New York Times, The Atlantic and Wired. On Sept. 18, he will address what neuroscience can teach facility professionals.
