SCHAUMBURG, IL -- Network Distribution, a global distributor of industrial packaging and janitorial supplies, has finalized a strategic alliance with Packaging Distributors of America.

Effective immediately, Network will begin the transition of PDA’s members, customers, and suppliers, with completion expected by July 1, 2026. The combined organization will operate under the name Network Distribution, with Alan Tomblin serving as President and CEO.

The alliance represents a defining milestone in the distribution industry — one built on strategic alignment to deliver unparalleled value to customers and suppliers across every market segment Network serves.

“At the heart of this alliance is a mutual commitment to growth,” said Tomblin. “Both companies have long recognized that local distribution is critical to our success and sustainable expansion is achieved through deliberate investment in people, structure, and culture. The alliance leverages the financial strength, supplier relationships, and operational discipline of two industry leaders to create a broader platform capable of servicing the wide-ranging packaging market.”

George Strobel, Founder, President and CEO of PDA, said, “PDA has always been rooted in strong relationships and a deep commitment to the people we serve. This alliance between Packaging Distributors of America and Network Distribution is a great step forward for our industry, creating stronger opportunities and added value for both our members and suppliers.”

“When we looked at PDA, we saw a reflection of our own values — strong relationships, commitment to service, and long-term growth,” said Mark Melzer, Chairman of the Board at Network. “Together, we strengthen our collective capabilities and reinforce our ability to deliver meaningful value.”
