NEW YORK – Sequel, a maker of tampons, has announced a partnership with the New York Yankees to provide complimentary feminine hygiene products at the stadium, continuing the organization’s commitment to enhancing the fan experience through thoughtful, inclusive amenities. The Yankees have long taken a comprehensive approach to evaluating the fan experience, which now includes expanding access to essential feminine care products. With approximately 1.5 million women attending games at Yankee Stadium each year, the initiative reflects the Yankees’ ongoing commitment to serve their female fan base. Beginning this season, Sequel dispensers will be installed in women’s restrooms throughout Yankee Stadium. The dispensers will offer complimentary tampons in both regular and super absorbencies, ensuring fans have access to essential, high-quality products during games and events. “The Yankees are excited to embark on this landmark partnership with Sequel to make feminine hygiene products available at no cost for guests at Yankee Stadium,” said Cindy Kamradt, Executive Director, Stadium Planning and Special Projects New York Yankees. “This initiative demonstrates the Yankees’ continuing dedication to ensuring an exceptional experience for their female fans and provides Sequel the unique opportunity to engage approximately 1.5 million women with immediate access to their product.” This partnership marks a first within Major League Baseball, as Sequel becomes the first tampon company to establish both a commercial partnership and full product integration at an MLB venue. For Sequel, the placement at Yankee Stadium represents the brand’s most iconic venue partnership to date and underscores its focus on collaborating with culturally influential organizations. “Partnering with one of the most iconic venues in sports furthers our mission to improve the female fan experience and provide the highest quality of product experience among top-tier venue amenities,” said Amanda Calabrese, co-founder and CMO, Sequel. “No fan should be left without game-day protection, and Sequel ensures that no matter the time of month, fans at Yankee Stadium will be covered by the best.” Sequel is also partnered with D.C. United, the first tampon team sponsor in men’s professional sports, as well as the Indiana Fever, with its products complimentarily available in those venues. Founded by Stanford product designers and former high-level athletes, the FDA-cleared Sequel Spiral Tampon uses a patented helical design to help prevent leakage and support comfort on and off the field.
