Diamond Chemical to Acquire Nyco

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ -- Diamond Chemical, a specialty chemical manufacturer for the cleaning and floor care markets, has acquired Illinois-based Nyco Products, uniting two historic cleaning-chemicals businesses with over 200 years of combined industry experience.

Diamond Chemical Co., LLC. was founded in 1930 by Jacob Diamond as a manufacturer of sodium hypochlorite (liquid bleach), which was sold to consumers door to door – and later to laundromats and commercial laundries.
