NORWALK, CT -- EMCOR Group, Inc., a mechanical, electrical, and building services provider, enjoyed an “exceptional” second quarter with a 20 percent increase in revenues.
The company posted a second quarter profit of $403.7 million, or $9.06 a share, on revenues of $5.15 billion, a record, compared to a profit of $302 million, or $6.72 a share on revenues of $4.3 billion in the same period last year.
“We had an exceptional second quarter, growing revenues nearly 20% and earning an impressive 10.6% operating margin,” said Tony Guzzi, president and CEO. “Our results were driven by strong performance across each of our reportable segments, which demonstrates the consistent execution, discipline, and customer focus that have defined EMCOR's success over many years.”
Operating income for the second quarter of 2026 was $547.3 million, or 10.6% of revenues, compared to operating income of $415.2 million, or 9.6% of revenues, for the second quarter of 2025.
The Company's income tax rate for the second quarter of 2026 was 26.8%, compared to 26.7% for the second quarter of 2025.

The company has assets of $10.1 billion, and liabilities of $6 billion.
