Assa Abloy Acquires Pacific Lock

STOCKHOLM -- ASSA ABLOY, a developer of secure access technologies, has acquired Pacific Lock Company, a U.S. padlock and security hardware manufacturer based in Valencia, CA.

ASSA ABLOY operates worldwide with 64,000 employees and sales of $15 billion, with leading positions in areas such as efficient door openings, trusted identities and entrance automation.

PACLOCK was founded in 1998 and has some 40 employees. It will be part of the Residential Business Segment within the Americas Division.

Sales for 2025 amounted to about $17 million with a strong EBIT margin. The acquisition will be accretive to EPS from the start.

The PACLOCK team said it does not expect pricing changes outside of its standard annual increase planned for January 2027.
