MENOMONEE FALLS, WI -- Bradley Company has developed a smart and connected restroom partition system that brings real-time occupancy monitoring to busy public restrooms.

Designed for airports and transportation hubs, stadiums and arenas, convention centers, entertainment venues and other high-traffic facilities, the connected system provides restroom users with real-time visibility into stall availability while helping facility teams make more informed operational decisions.

In crowded public facilities, restroom traffic can fluctuate significantly throughout the day, especially during peak travel periods, events and scheduled breaks. An optional digital display outside the restroom shows how many stalls are available, helping users gauge availability before entering. Once inside, integrated LED occupancy indicators make it easy to identify open stalls.

This added visibility can reduce uncertainty, ease congestion and help people move through the restroom more efficiently – particularly in facilities serving large crowds.

Occupancy data is securely transmitted to the Nexa platform, where facility teams can use the Nexa Dashboard to remotely monitor restroom utilization, peak traffic periods and overall system status.

Rather than relying solely on routine inspections or fixed service schedules, facility managers gain actionable insights that can help them prioritize cleaning, maintenance and staffing based on actual demand. This information can support more responsive service, better allocation of resources and data-driven planning across one or multiple restroom locations.

Maintenance mode also allows staff to temporarily designate a restroom as unavailable during cleaning or servicing, helping direct users to other facilities.

Bradley’s 2026 Healthy Handwashing Survey reinforces the demand for greater restroom visibility, finding that 86% of U.S. adults believe it would be valuable for restrooms in high-traffic locations to display how many stalls are available before they enter.
