SkyPSI App Maps and Prices Drone Cleaning Jobs

DALLAS – SkyPSI, a technology company that makes robots work for working people, has launched a free app that can map every commercial building in the U.S. and can price drone cleaning jobs for each one.

The Operator+ app covers 17.1 million buildings across the country, with the average commercial job worth $13,500.

For SkyPSI founder Vic Pellicano, the hardest part of starting a business was never the work. It was knowing where to find it and what to charge. Big contractors have estimators and sales teams for that. A crew of two with a drone and a pickup has guesswork. Operator+ was designed to close that gap.

"Every building in your city is a job somebody is going to get paid for. The only question is whether you know about it," said Vic Pellicano. "For years that information belonged to the big players. We just put it in everybody's pocket."

Operator+ is built on three things:
Nationwide access: Every commercial building in an operator's metro, with the service that each one needs.

The opportunity: Each SkyEstimate prices a building's cleaning job and shows the method behind the number, so operators can quote with confidence.

Sky, the Virtual Crew Chief: Sky lives in every account, answers questions and points operators to the buildings that fit their crew.

The free account opens every SkyEstimate and shows what each building pays on the map. It also includes a schedule, customers and jobs, invoices paid online, and Sky as your virtual Crew Chief.

Paid plans add immediate contact information for the decision-makers who sign the contracts for these properties, and every new account starts with a 30-day Starter trial.

SkyPSI launched in August in Dallas-Fort Worth, with plans to grow through the Texas Triangle and then to every American city.

The opportunity is large and mostly untouched. Commercial cleaning is heading toward $860 billion by 2034, and robots handle barely 1 percent of it today.

Drones also change how often buildings get cleaned. Facades that were washed once a year because rope work was dangerous and expensive can be cleaned several times a year from the ground, with an FAA-certified pilot at the controls.

"I grew up in a trailer park and lived out of my car. Nobody told me which direction to head to," said Pellicano. "Operator+ is the map. It tells a working person where the money is on their own street, and it doesn't cost them a dime to look."

Operator+ starts with commercial exterior cleaning because that is where SkyPSI already sells contracts, trains operators and stands behind every job. The platform underneath it is built to carry more. Over time SkyPSI plans to add new solutions, giving operators more ways to earn including other commercial equipment and services.

"The robot economy is going to create millions of small businesses," said Pellicano. "Cleaning is the first door we're opening. It won't be the last."

SkyPSI is a technology company that builds the infrastructure behind drone-powered commercial exterior cleaning. SkyPSI sells the contracts, trains and certifies independent operators, puts professional cleaning drones in their hands, and stands behind every job.

The company serves commercial properties only, including hotels, senior living communities, office buildings, multifamily and HOA communities, medical facilities, parking structures, and retail and mixed-use developments, across Dallas-Fort Worth and within 200 miles of Dallas, Texas.
